Willow hurdles are a great way to mark out a boundary if you’re looking for a change to the traditional timber garden fencing, like panels and closeboard.
The attractive construction of these willow screens is made by weaving real strips of willow horizontally through spaced out vertical willow poles. The finished effect offers a charming and natural look which will make your garden really stand out from the crowd.
Our range of willow hurdles and other garden screening products are ideal for either fencing in or screening off particular areas. So whatever your requirements you are certain to find the perfect product within our will hurdle range.
Installing Willow Hurdles
The willow hurdles available from AVS are presented in a range of different heights, but all at a standard width of 1.8m. If you have never attempted to install hurdles or willow screening products before you don’t need to be apprehensive. They can be easily erected using peeled and treated pointed stakes as the posts. Drive these into the ground where you want the willow hurdle to be positioned and tie them on using line wire.
Many of our customers not only use willow hurdles as a traditional fence replacement but also simply to screen areas in the garden that they would rather not be on view. The lower level willow hurdles are great for this purpose, as well as being ideal for creating a border around a flower bed.
Willow fencing has become a very popular alternative in the garden and other outside spaces. Available in a variety of heights, many of these hurdles are just as sturdy as standard timber panels.
AVS Fencing are experts in supplying the materials that have changed many landscapes across the south of England.
